Overview
Damper motors are used for the control of air flow control dampers in heating-cooling and ventilation systems. On / off motors can be controlled via single contact connection, floating motors can be controlled by double contact connection. Proportional motors are proportionally controlled by a 2-10 VDC control signal. Thanks to its special clamp system, it can be mounted directly on damper shafts of different cross-sections and diameters, which provides great convenience. When the button on the motor is pressed, the gear mechanism is released and the damper shaft can be turned manually without damaging the motor. When the engine is started, the gear mechanism is automatically activated to control the damper. Spring return damper motors are used for the control of air flow control dampers with safety function in heating - cooling and ventilation systems (such as frost protection, smoke control, hygiene). As long as the engine is energized, it installs and keeps the spring installed. In the event of a power failure, the damper reaches the safety position with the released spring power. The direction of operation and spring-return are determined by the way the motor is mounted. The motors are protected against mechanical jams and stop automatically when they end up in either direction. When the motor is stuck mechanically or completes its rotation, it automatically protects itself by cutting off its energy.
